Week 12: Roofing Begins After the Storm

This week started with a deluge! A torrential downpour at the beginning of the week caused some delays, particularly in our landscaping efforts. However, the skies have cleared, and we're back on track, starting the finished roofing process.

With the roof sheathing in place, we're now installing the final roofing material. This crucial step will provide the ultimate protection from the elements, ensuring the home is weathertight and ready for whatever Mother Nature throws its way. Seeing the roofing material go on is another exciting milestone, as it significantly changes the look of the house and signals that we're moving closer to completion.

While the rain did delay some exterior work, we're making up for lost time and excited to see the roof take shape. Stay tuned for next week's update as we continue to make progress on the exterior of our single-story home!
