Week 16: A Break and Interior Slab Finishing

This week was a bit quieter on the construction front as I took some time to visit friends in San Francisco. While I was away, I gave all of our subcontractors a well-deserved break. It's important to allow time for rest and rejuvenation during a long project like this.

However, even with the break, progress was made behind the scenes. The interior slab finishing took place this week. This crucial step ensures a smooth and level surface for the final flooring to be installed. While I didn't capture many pictures this week due to my travels, this behind-the-scenes work is essential for the overall quality and finish of the home.
