Week 4: The Slab is Poured!

This week marked a major milestone: the concrete slab was poured! After meticulous preparation in week 3, the concrete truck arrived, and the slab was carefully poured and leveled. This solid foundation is crucial for the structural integrity of our single-story home.

The process didn't stop with the pour. Now, the concrete needs time to cure. This involves keeping the slab moist and protected from extreme temperatures to ensure proper strength and prevent cracking. We'll be carefully monitoring the curing process over the next few days. This period of rest is essential for the long-term stability of the slab.
